Betrayed but not Broken

So I heard a song name "Broken" by Lindsey Haun it was in a movie I saw name "Broken Bridges" it was a good movie but it's the song that ministered to me.  I recently had the thought that, I had lived my christian life in "the box". I felt somewhere along the way I had lost myself in living for Christ and began living my life how others (leaders) particularly had taught how to live your christian life. That was a hard revelation for me but I am working on finding me in God, not who others say I am to be "In Him"

The song starts off like this:

 Wake up to a sunny day, not a cloud up in the sky
And then it starts to rain
My defenses hit the ground and they shatter all around
So open and exposed

I found strength in the struggle
Face to face with my trouble

When you're broken in a million little pieces
And you're tryin', but you can't hold on anymore
Every tear falls down for a reason
Don't you stop believing in yourself when you're broken

"When you're broken"  made me think of being at a fork in the road of life.  What and who you thought was is not. So now you have to pick up the broken pieces of your life and build again.  What you do in a situation when you are broken is crucial. People's hearts change and that determines the type of decisions they will make when life throws them for a loop. You can be "Broken" in areas of your belief, confidence, trust etc. but the the main thing is Don't stop believing in yourself. And I don't mean leave God out of the equation, He is your creator.  Who He created us to be is what we are to strive to be, no matter how many tears we cry, no matter how many times we miss it, no matter how many times we have been broken.  Trouble comes and that is the most crucial time to take the road that leads to Christ and his arms will be wide open. 

Broken has been defined as having been fractured or damaged, no longer in one piece or in working order. Rejected, defeated, or despaired. But God is able to make us whole he heals all wounds. He said he came so that we can have life more abundantly and he said that knowing we would encounter moments of despair.  The Blood he shed for us was so all those broken pieces can come back together again Supernaturally,  How you may ask because Praise God, He is Jehovah Rapha our healer.

 

 

Many are facing very challenging times.  Some are in the struggle of their life, tired of being tired, or overwhelmed and anxious.  But the words... "I found strength in my struggle,  Face to face with my trouble"...  are breathtaking. When those below the belt blows come, Be strengthen, don't give in. Fear not, Stand firm and See the salvation of the Lord. (Exo. 14:13)

 

Ephesians 3:14-16 says,

 ¹⁴For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
 ¹⁵Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
 ¹⁶That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

This is what I have prayed for you today, whoever reads this and whenever you read it know that I have prayed for you. May these words be a blessing to you all the days of your life!

The word "inner" is translated the soul, the conscience.  Our mind will and emotions (soul) our conscience is able to be strengthen which mean it also can be weaken. When you find yourself needing inner strength know that our Lord Jesus Christ is willing and capable of strengthening you. That is a promise, trust in Jesus Christ and believe in Who you are in Him.
